Does Richard Tisei Think Earned Sick Time is a “Burden”?

Moulton stands with workers, supports earned sick time

Salem, MA -- Today at a press conference in Lynnfield, Richard Tisei accepted the endorsement of the National Federation of Independent Business, saying “We need to stop burdening our small businesses.” On the same day, it came out that Bill Vernon, the Massachusetts State Director at the NFIB, recently launched a PAC in opposition to earned sick time called the No on 4 Committee.

“Seth Moulton would never call earned sick time a ‘burden’ to business,” said Carrie Rankin, communications director for Seth Moulton. “While Richard Tisei stands with business leaders like Bill Vernon who are actively working against earned sick time, Moulton will always be on the side of hard working individuals trying to make ends meet.  It’s time we give people the benefits they deserve and have earned.”
