Salem, MA — Today, Emerson College Polling Society released a poll showing that Seth Moulton and John Tierney are in a dead heat with John Tierney at 47% and Seth Moulton at  44% (+/-4.33% margin of error). The poll also found that, in the general election, John Tierney will lose to Republican Richard Tisei 51% – 43% whereas Moulton has a significant lead on Tisei 44% – 36%.

"The fact is, Seth Moulton is the best, and only, chance to keep this seat blue in November," said Carrie Rankin, communications director at Seth Moulton for Congress. Yesterday, he was endorsed by five additional newspapers from across the 6th district, including: The Salem NewsGloucester TimesDaily News of NewburyportLawrence Eagle Tribune, and Wicked Local North of Boston, which publishes more than 30 weekly newspapers in communities across the 6th district.  Highlights of the endorsements can be viewed here
