Moulton Calls on Tisei to Condemn National Republican Efforts to Raise Money off the Benghazi Tragedy

Salem, MA — On the heels of Republican Speaker John Boehner's announcement that he would create a special committee to re-investigate the tragic deaths of four Americans in Benghzi, the National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC) sent out a fundraising appeal calling the Republican members of the committee "Benghazi Watchdogs" and said that they should "go after Obama and Hillary Clinton."

Seth Moulton, Democratic candidate for Congress in Massachusetts' sixth congressional district, called on Richard Tisei to disavow the NRCC's effort to raise money off a tragedy:

"As a citizen of this community, and especially as a veteran, I'm disgusted by the national Republicans' attempt to raise money off a tragedy. Richard Tisei should immediately condemn the NRCC's effort to exploit the death of Americans in Benghazi.

"This is a group that has vowed to dump money into this district in support of Richard Tisei. Are these really the people Richard Tisei will befriend in Congress?"
