Letter: Moulton's Iraq Experience Applicable in Washington

To the editor:

It occurs to me that people who are concerned that Seth Moulton lacks political experience are missing a very significant item in his resume.

During his service as a Marine officer in Iraq, Seth was assigned the very difficult task of negotiating with tribal leaders in a hostile environment — not significantly different from trying to work across the aisle in Congress. To me, that experience will be directly applicable in Washington, and it alone is sufficient justification for my vote. I trust Seth to stand up to leadership in both parties and always do the right thing for our district and our country. Please join me in electing Seth Moulton as our next representative to U.S. Congress on Nov. 4.
