Journalist, former BC professor says "I'm John Tierney and I'm asking you to vote for Seth Moulton."
Salem, MA – Today, John Tierney, a reporter for The Atlantic magazine and a former professor of American government at Boston College, announced his endorsement of Seth Moulton via web video.
"I'm John Tierney and I'm here to ask you to vote for Seth Moulton. I'm not a politician but as a former professor of American government and someone who taught a course on Congress for more than 20 years I watched the discussion in Washington closely, and know we need new leadership.
"People have teased me in the past for sharing a name with Congressman John Tierney, but his ineffectiveness is no laughing matter. John Tierney's been in office for 18 years, and he's only passed one bill. That's only one more than me and I haven't spent one day in Congress. We're not going to change a broken congress by sending people like John Tierney back to Washington.
"It's time for new leadership. I'm John Tierney, and I'm asking you to vote for Seth Moulton."
